So although I need to start thinking about exercise again, I wasn’t expecting it to happen soo soon, my wheelbarrow decided to get a puncture, and as everyone knows getting an inner tube for a wheelbarrow is like going on a goose hunt. Nowhere local had one, so in the end I had to order it off line and the… Read more →
6 Week Challenge…
You can blame my Husband for this being 24hrs late, I asked him yesterday if I should start my diet yesterday, and he came back with start Monday. Admittedly I didn’t put up much of a fight. And seeing as we had to head into Norwich, we decided to check out the Christmas decorations in the garden centres. Needless to… Read more →
Lowest Of The Low…
The other day I think we can easily say I hit my lowest point with the horses, for the first time since I got Nas way back in 2007 I didn’t muck out properly …. Ssh don’t say it out loud I’m feeling very guilty about it. They all literally got the essentials. And no technically I wasn’t ill. I… Read more →
Three Years Worth…
Of horsey magazines are about to go on tonights bonfire. I’ve been humming and haa’ing (is that a word) whether I should do this. The plan was actually to flick through and keep some that I’ve hardly looked at, turns out that’s nearly all of them. I was then going to put them beside my bed and read thru them… Read more →
Numpty Time Again
Seriously sometimes I do wonder where my head is at, I forget more than I remember, often if I have a really good thought about something it’s gone by the time I have a chance to put it down on paper or even to really process it. So in the past week I’ve had two such incidences one happened just… Read more →
Yes We’re Back On The Road!
And this weeks good news is we’re finally back in the world of 4×4 ‘ness’ and the best bit is it has a towbar and is ready to roll -just as soon as me and Nas are- believe me though as soon as we are we will be out, dressage, cross country, more beach rides.
You name it we’re aiming for it , oh except for showing sorry but I don’t have the patience for all the pallaver before hand. We might try and get the boy out on spirit though for a little bit of lead rein fun.
The car is perfect for our life here in Norfolk, I drove it this morning before the crack of dawn in the wind and rain. And I wasn’t stressed, sure the mpg is higher but we have to think of all the extra things we will be able to do again. E.g Dog walks along the
beach.
I think it’s fair to say my lack of motivation and success with dieting and riding has pretty much coincided with the death of the jeep. I know it’s stupid but it had knocked me back.
And even though I feel like we are back at the beginning it won’t be long before I get my mojo back upto 100% and get my arse back in the zone.
There’s Nothing For It
I’m going to have to really cut down the amount I am eating in the day. Last week I watched what I ate every day and tried to stick to between 3 and four things. Some days this was hard especially with a kiddie party followed by kebab. But then others it was pretty easy, and despite being hungry in… Read more →
6 Weeks Gone!
Sorry no boot post today, they’re still not out of the box. What I do want to say is where the heck have 6 weeks gone; yesterday my neighbour kindly shouted across ‘farrier today’ I retorted back with WHAT no way it can’t be that time already. She replied ‘yes 6 weeks’ to say I was shocked was an understatement.… Read more →
Annual Hoys Trip
Nearly didn’t happen this year, and boy was I depressed but then at the very last moment the kind person who lets us have their tickets came through and we were able to go. I did consider buying tickets but the prices were coming in at a ridiculous rate but despite not having the cost of driving the jeep (boo… Read more →
Down 3 To 23st :-/
So as much as I got so fed up with being a complete nightmare when it comes to sticking to any kind of plan, and then having the excuse of not being able to start again because I was going out for the day and it would just be wrong to try and stick to some regimented calorie intake. Or… Read more →
