Weighing The Options

I think it’s fair to say I haven’t had a good week, it all started with the poxy scales and my stubbornness not to buy new ones – I’ll let you into a little secret- if I was to buy new scales it would be the ones which are currently only available in America I can’t remember the name of them but they automatically upload to an online account enabling you to have instant access and share options.

There are some in the uk which I think are similar and connect via the Wi-Fi,  the downside is they retail around £120, well like I said I could get Nas his snuggy pyjamas for that. So I won’t be getting any just yet.

I have struggled with not knowing my weight on a day to day basis, its daft not knowing what I weigh really shouldn’t have such a knock on effect. But it does and I want to break that dependence I have with the scales on a daily basis.

Sure I was going to use my clothes as a guide, but that is almost as depressing as getting on the scales and not seeing the number’s move. Plus it is hard to tell your progress… depending on your mood the trousers can be either halfway up or halfway down.

Realising I would go insane if I don’t know my weight. I have decided that I will use the scales you often find in supermarkets/boots, not every time I go shopping but every so often I will be popping on those scales just to try and keep a track of my weight.

The downside is I don’t usually shop naked first thing in the morning, so I have to accept the chance of fluctuation, depending on what I am wearing and times of the day. As long as I have a ball park figure it will hopefully be enough  to keep me on the straight and narrow.

Plus I also don’t ride Nas first thing in the morning naked, so I suppose you could say it would be a more accurate weight for what Nas is carrying, especially if I am wearing my jodhpurs J
