Its funny how it has come about. But the lack of funds at the moment has meant we are doing less as a family. The silver lining though is we have more time to be a family
We’re not rushing around here there and everywhere, what’s more we don’t want to be. For the first time in about 3 years we are enjoying being at home and it being just the three of us.
Don’t get me wrong we still love going out and having people visit. I just think we were exhausting ourselves by constantly being on the go. And those rare times we were at home we really didn’t know what to do with ourselves.
When we first moved it was a bit of a culture shock, one we all needed though. Of all of us the boy has really embraced being a home bod, and is now whinging when we do go out. Instead of the vice versa we had before.
In a way its a good thing we are home more seeing as there is always some little bit of maintenance to be done on the yard. Or we end up having a fire with all the rubbish we seem to accumulate.
Because of this I am finally able to get into a routine and stick with it. This morning I have lunged, groomed and mucked out my two. I’ve also been to the supermarket and now I’m about to sit in the sun to have my lunch.
I think we have all finally realised that we don’t need to be rushing from one thing to another. We are definitely more chilled as a family and take things as they come.
As for the diet I am just about to have my first meal of the day cheese on toast. All I’ve had this morning it 2 espressos and a glass of cherryade! I can honestly say it hasn’t been hard this morning.
