Being a blog about dieting and riding I don’t suppose I should be talking about chocolate. I just don’t think I can resist though, I had such a good chocolate experience yesterday it’s actually left me with a feeling of ahhh. Now I can relax and get back on with the diet.
Even though I had the chocolate and pizza hut for lunch yesterday I don’t actually consider it a bad day. I did quite a lot of walking (shopping) and some of it involved quite a fast pace I can’t tell you may be as much as 2.4mph lol.
It got me thinking to the amount I actually do in the day now, compared to 6yrs ago when all my life involved was the odd shopping trip occasionally walking the dogs and tidying up every so often. I swear I must have sat around quite a lot and wasted a lot of time.
Now I am on the go constantly even if it’s just putting another load of washing on or running out to get the horses in before doing dinner or picking Steve up. Obviously I do have my sit down times and I know I could still do a lot more in the day; this is one of my aims this year.
But still I am on the go quite a lot, and if I’m not moving then I am thinking about moving. Last night though we sat down to watch a film with Horatio this was my 3rd time of seeing this particular film so I was a bit au fait with it, which enabled me to really enjoy what I was eating.
I had earlier in the day picked up a couple of bars of Cadburys bubbly from pound land. Recently when I have had Cadburys bar I have noticed I’ve been crunching the chunks rather than fully enjoying them.
Last night though oh my god I was literally in chocolate heaven I ate the whole bar and didn’t share any. Every bubble got savoured to the last moment. I was a bit sad when it was over but then knew I had had more than enough to satisfy any chocolate cravings for a while.
Sure I will probably start thinking about bubble in a few days and when I next go to town if they have any left I won’t be able to resist, what I will do though is try to enjoy it rather than gulp it down. There are just some foods that should be enjoyed and not eaten on a whim because you are desperate.
One thing it has proven to me is I am a Cadbury’s girl at heart, I thought I had moved on to posher pastures with my prestart and rococo chocolate but you know what I really don’t enjoy those as much – the only chocs I really love are Elveden chocolates they do a coffee mousse that is divine.
Back to the Cadburys though a few years ago we actually went to Cadbury world, I must say it wasn’t that good but I did get a top from there. Which I am dying to wear it’s actually in my riding gear drawer. It is in the largest size they did but still a way off for me to actually fit in, pfft.
