It’s been playing on my mind recently that there hasn’t been much talk of horses and riding on this blog. It’s probably been a quite a few months since I last tried riding Nas, and once again he hasn’t done much work. I’ve also failed to keep you up to date with his general well-being. Last week he was looking out of sorts and when I checked he was running a high temperature. After talking to the vet we decided to wait it out and sure enough within a few days he was back to his usual self.
There are loads more I want to talk about on the subject of horses and riding but I never seem to get around to it at the moment. Today is the first day I’m really feeling the benefit of Horatio being at school full time now. It’s just after half 12 and I have mucked out, tidied the yard and spent some time with Nas. Now I am back in the house doing washing, tidying and about to have lunch.
For those who want to know what lunch is… it’s either going to be something on toast or tuna sandwich… it depends on the state of the bread. Yesterday I finished the jar of nutella I bought, convinced that hey yeah I do like nutella on toast… only to find I don’t really and it was just an emotional overload glitch. So as not to tempt me I had to finish it last night.
So as much as I would like to continue on and talk about horses I’m not going to. over the next few posts I want to try and finish what I was trying to say with my last few posts – Claire Richards and Why Cant We – and clear up exactly what it is I am trying to achieve with this blog in regards to dieting and riding as a big girl. I think it will be more than a couple of posts as you know I like to waffle and often I do go off another track completely…
Bear with me I will get to the point in the end and hopefully somewhere someone will have a light bulb moment.
