Contrary Hypocrite

Oooh I wasn’t looking forward to my 13th post… I’m not totally superstitious but there are a few things I’ve carried with me since my child hood, never cross on the stairs, say hello to magpies and the number 13 isn’t always good. In recent years I came across one other that I do fully believe in. The phases of the moon, I always knew that around full moon time I can become a tad unreasonably stroppy, I’ve had some of my worst totally pointless arguments around the full moon, (p.s I think it affects men worse he he). Anyway I read once that you should never start a diet when the moon is in its waxing phase (when the new moon is growing), but wait until it is waning (just after a full moon). successful diets though I do think  is down to your own mind set, however  anything a little bit quirky that helps you achieve your goals, without being detrimental  to your health and well being. Has to be a bonus. I’m feeling the moon diet is a good one for me at this time seeing as our next full moon is on the 23rd of September so there really is no point me trying to diet until the 24th lol; ok I’m just trying to bend the rules so I can go out to dinner tonight guilt free.

As for this post title, hubby is under the opinion these two words don’t go together. I can’t help thinking he doesn’t really know me all that well.
